What is so great about the Garmin 305?
The release of this device was a big step forward in design and technology. When released, the Forerunner 305 was one of the most accurate, most reliable wrist-mounted performance and GPS tracking tools on the market. Even though Garmin has since released newer versions of the Forerunner, it is still tough to beat the price and performance of this device.
Customers who bought the Garmin 305 have been very happy. Many have noted the device is very accurate when used for both running and biking. They noted it has a ton of features and training aids, and can be easily connected to a PC for data uploads. Several customers highlinghted the virtual partner feature. This feature lets you compare your performance against a virtual opponent. Many found this feature a great motivator for improved performance. Finally, some reviewers noted the improved button layout. The right side of the device has buttons for menu selection and enter function while the left side has the power/backlight and mode buttons.
